Then I never touched it until now and I stitched quite a bit! Here is the updated WIP:



The pics are a bit dull (the fabric is white not grey) so I'll work on getting brighter pics.

Long Weekend

So Last time I posted I was stitching Sophie's Roses a kit by Shepherds Bush. Here she is finished:





Then I started another quick one:

Next up?? Well I'm feeling guilty about my WIP's from last year as they aren't getting a look in. But at least I'm finishing what I'm starting? So I'm going to go with my heart...

First day of work

This is the progress:





I changed two of the colours because 'light rose' and 'palest rose' were too close together. And 'light green' wasn't green at all - it was taupe. So I picked out a nice pale green. All subs are DMC, the kit uses silks - oh well. Funniest thing is that I knew exactly what green to use, which one would be pale enough yet in the same range of tone as the darker greens without even needing to check. That is satisfying.

So I'm tossing up whether to resurrect Random Thoughts which I started last year:
